On Saturday, October 14th 2017 at approximately 1541hrs P.O. Martin Clancy #390 was traveling southbound on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the Englewood Cliffs NJ Section. During this time he observed a box truck with a cracked windshield and two flat tires driving at 72mph in a 50mph zone. P.O. Clancy stopped the vehicle and in doing so received a computer return that the vehicle was stolen from Indiana.
Upon stopping, Sgt. Raymond Walter #367 and Officers Rocco Guerriero #400 and Kevin Condus #404 arrived on the scene. Both occupants were removed from the vehicle and placed into custody. During the apprehension and subsequent investigation, the invididuals were found to be in possession of Cocaine as well as numerous counterfeit credit cards and drivers licenses. Both subjects were transported to the NJ Headquarters were they were processed and later transferred to the Bergen County Jail awaiting bail and indictment.
