2018 MADD Awards

On Tuesday, June 12th 2018 the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department was recognized by Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (“MADD”) for producing 75 Driving While Intoxicated arrests in 2017. P.O. Jeffrey Lamboy #384 and Timothy Conboy #393 attended the ceremony held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ as both had the highest amount of DWI arrests in the department. P.O. David Moscaritolo #395 who also had one of the top three arrest counts in the department was unable to attend due to being away on Military Leave.

Although there are various campaigns throughout the year promoting DWI enforcement and the education of responsible drinking, this department proactively looks for impaired driving regardless of an active campaign. These officers were recognized for their dedicated efforts throughout the year.
