7-11-16 ROCKLAND COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT DAY
On Monday July 11th 2016 members of the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department participated in the Rockland County Law Enforcement Day which was held to benefit children from the Ronald McDonald House in New York City. After arriving by police escort, Members of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, NYPD, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police and several local agencies displayed their equipment, capabilities, and allowed children to engage and learn from members of the different units within the agencies. Children enjoyed time with the officers and were also able to play on various rides and attractions that were also set up for them.
We would like to thank the officers listed above for volunteering to attend and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office for inviting our agency to attend and be part of this very special day.
