Discovery & OPRA/FOIL Requests

Requests for Discovery or OPRA (Open Public Records Act) must always be made in writing.  Although most records are able to be released, agencies are required to maintain a dissemination log as well as record of certain reimbursements associated with such requests.  It is important to understand which request you need to make.
