Fatal Motorcycle Crash

On August 10, 2019, at about 2:27 PM, The Palisades Interstate Parkway Police received 911 calls reporting a motorcycle crash on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway Exit 4 ramp in the Alpine Section. Upon arrival, officers began to assist civilians who had already started first aid and CPR. PIP Officers also deployed an AED.  Englewood Hospital Paramedics, Rockland County Paramedics, Closter Rescue, and South Orangetown Ambulance Corps responded and took over patient care.

The victim, a 31-year-old male from Brooklyn, NY had been operating a black 2009 Buell motorcycle at the time of the crash. He was transported to Englewood Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Detective Bureau.
