On Monday, February 10th 2014 at 1048pm Det. Jeff Kimbro #371 and P.O. Michael Griffin #382 were on patrol in the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound Sunoco Gas Station (Englewood Cliffs NJ Section). During this time they observed a 2014 Mercedes Benz drive through the exiting stop sign without stopping. They conducted a motor vehicle stop just north of the gas station and approached the vehicle.

Both occupants (driver and passenger) appeared very nervous when talking with officers and an odor of Marijuana was detected coming from within the vehicle. The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle and during the investigation a search was conducted. During the search, Det. Kimbro located 2 hypodermic syringes on the driver as well as 8 bags of Heroin within his underwear. During a search of the passenger, 4 bags of Heroin were also located Both occupants were placed into custody and transported to headquarters where they were later processed and ultimately released on their own recognizance.
