On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at approximately 1415 hours, the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department received a call of a male partly dressed in female clothing exposing his genitals to park patrons in the Ross Dock Picnic area. Police immediately responded. The subject was described as a male subject wearing a red-haired wig, black dress, high heels and driving a black Audi. Sgt. G. Kimbro advised that he had a subject matching that description pulled over on the road north of the Ross Dock Picnic area. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Benjamin Lam. A 60-year-old male from Cresskill, NJ. Officers Conboy, Levine, Bilotti, and Patullo responded to the scene to assist. After interviewing witnesses, it was determined the exposure of Mr. Lam’s genitals warranted an arrest for lewdness. Mr. Lam was charged with two counts of Lewdness and one count of Child Endangerment. He was committed to the Bergen County Jail.
