MULTI-VICTIM MOTORCYCLE COLLISION

On Wednesday, July 30th, 2014 at 2155hr the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police responded southbound on the Parkway in the area of Interchange 3 for a reported multi-victim motorcycle collision. Upon arrival, officers found a single vehicle and single motorcycle involved in a collision. The motorcycle was occupied by Mr. Frezell Brown, Age 30, from Bronx NY and his passenger Tayesha Bryant, Age 25 also from Bronx NY. Both occupants of the vehicle were uninjured however the two (2) occupants of the motorcycle received serious “road rash” type injuries. Both victims were transported by ambulance and paramedics to Hackensack University Medical Center in non-life threatening condition. Preliminary investigation shows that both the vehicle and motorcycle may have been changing lanes simultaneously and made contact. The investigation however is still ongoing. The closed lane was reopened within an hour.
