SIX MORE OFFICERS COMPLETE RAPPEL TRAINING

On Sunday, June 1st 2014, the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department was fortunate enough to have another 6 officers graduate from a rigorous 3 day rappelling course.

Hosted by the Bergen County Fire Academy and the East Bergen Rappel Team, officers from the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department learned the much needed skills to rappel off the 12 miles of steep and treacherous cliff line in order to perform rescue and recovery operations as well as cliff side investigations.
